French International School (FIS)

A fresh new look for one of Hong Kong’s leading academic institutions.

To celebrate their 50-year anniversary, the French International School wanted a complete revamp and Emotive was tasked to redesign their brand logo, livery, internal communication guidelines, and website.

Wanting to incorporate both HK and French symbolism, we took inspiration from Hong Kong’s Bauhinia flower to create a dynamic little icon that displays the French tricolor, whose petals seem to come together like children at play.

Every detail was carefully considered from print and school signage to vehicles and bathroom doors.  Clear brand guidelines were delivered , so each faculty, teacher and contractor could implement them easily and accurately.
